Ballistic Analysis Using Advanced CFD Techniques

Project Overview :

Conducted CFD simulations for an Australian manufacturing company to analyze bullet velocity distribution during rifle firing.


Key Contributions :

  • Implemented overset mesh techniques for moving bullet geometry

  • Employed density-based solver for compressible flow analysis

  • Developed custom scripting for specialized boundary conditions

  • Performed transient simulations of firing dynamics
