Praphul T is a seasoned Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) professional with a cumulative experience of over 6 years in academia and industry. Presently, Praphul holds the position of Technical Consultant at Hexagon specializing in Electronics, Life Sciences & CFD, with a keen focus on the CRADLE CFD software suite.​

In his professional journey, Praphul combines domain expertise with excellent interpersonal skills, meticulous documentation abilities, effective teaching prowess, and dynamic presentation talents. He excels at translating complex ideas into accessible content, consistently delivering top-quality results. Being a team player, Praphul had played a significant role in increasing the revenue of Hexagon's CFD business in Indo-Pacific region. ​

Praphul's academic foundation in Mechanical Engineering, coupled with a passion for Fluid-Thermal sciences, led him to pursue a post-graduate degree in Thermal Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology, where he graduated at the top of his class. His research focuses on CFD, Turbulence, Heat Transfer, and Fluid Mechanics.

Beyond his professional achievements, Praphul is a polymath with diverse interests. He's a connoisseur of Carnatic Music, skilled in both vocals and the Carnatic Mandolin. During leisure moments, he lovingly restores vintage vehicles, particularly scooters. His hobbies also include cricket, photography, DIY projects, and motorcycle riding, showcasing a well-rounded personality. ​

 

Furthermore, Praphul has a passion for linguistic mastery and is currently immersed in the captivating journey of learning the Japanese language. His multifaceted interests reflect an individual who is not only a professional standout but also a passionate explorer of diverse domains.​
