Project Overview :

Conducted dispersed multiphase flow simulations for a pump manufacturing company to analyze the performance characteristics of a submerged aerator pump under complex flow conditions.


Key Contributions :

  • Implemented Volume of Fluid (VOF) method for multiphase flow modeling

  • Applied discontinuous mesh techniques to handle complex pump geometry

  • Resolved numerical divergence issues to achieve stable simulation results

  • Analyzed gas-liquid interaction patterns within the pump system

  • Delivered comprehensive multiphase flow characterization
