Spearheaded a pivotal project for a leading global automotive OEM in Thailand, focusing on arc welding simulations using advanced techniques. The project aimed to identify porosity zones and characterize weld bead shapes to optimize the welding process.
Key Contributions :
Utilized scSTREAM to conduct comprehensive welding simulations, analyzing porosity zones and weld bead morphology.
Leveraged a customized script (using javascript) to apply the Goldak heat source model, ensuring accurate and realistic welding simulations.
Provided valuable insights into the welding process, enabling the optimization of automotive manufacturing workflows.
